So its been a while since my last post. Things have been crazy busy around here. We are finally out of the hotel and into our house. It took me about 3 days but I have everything (unaccompanied stuff) cleaned, washed, put away and organized. Our house is huge, which I am thankful for. I am just hoping that after all the rest of our stuff gets here, its stays as big as it looks now.. We took a week off from doing any exploring because the army decided to send back to the states for a week for training. I was not brave enough to venture out on my own. I am sure I will, but just not yet..After he got back, we spent Labor Day weekend out and about. We went to Rockfest here on post. That was interesting. There was a variety of music ranging from old school rock, to Korean Heavy Metal, and even a Burlesque group. It was fun.

The next day was completely exhausting. We spent the entire day at Lotte World. For those of you that do not know,
Lotte World is the equivalent of our Disney World.
We all had a blast. Not only is the park outside, but inside as well. I am sure that next time we go back, we will experience even more than we could fit into our day last weekend. That's how big it is.
당신 영어 할 줄 아세요? (dangsin yeong-eo hal jul aseyo?) Do you speak English? That would have been a great phrase to learn before we got there.. lol
The kids are now in school and they are excited. AJ is taking band this year. He is going to play the sax. He is excited about that, and so is Ben. Since Ben plays too.. he is going to help AJ and play with him. Kota is adjusting, but slowly. Any of you that know Kota, know that is is my social butterfly. Its taking him a little longer to come out of his shell, but he is getting there. Ben has been super busy at work, and I have to say, most of the people he works with are pretty cool. I have met quite a few of them, and it seems like since this is such a small unit, they are all pretty tight knit. We did get some interesting news this week, as far as his job goes. Everyone knows that I was less than thrilled about coming to Korea. I'm pretty sure I was dead set against it. That opinion has greatly changed. I actually really like it here. (Its been forever since I said that) I was even considering staying for 3 years instead of 2.. but.. what were we told a few days ago?? oh ya.. that's right.. Don't get to comfortable. We are reflagging the whole unit.. To where?? Hawaii.. When?? Sometime late next year.. Is that crazy?? Again.. gotta love the army.. lol.. I have met some people here too. Everyone seems really friendly and super helpful. I think our time here is really going to be a good experience. Next on my to-do list.. I am working on contracts and lesson plans. I am hoping to be back to work soon. We just have to wait until all the rest of our stuff gets here. I love my job, you all know that, but let me just say.. its going to be completely different here than it was at Fort Gordon.. That will be an entirely different blog post in itself.. but I am excited about it. I know I just kinda threw the last few weeks into one quick blog, but things are still pretty busy around here. I am hoping that as things start to become less hectic and more "normal" around here, I will be able to do this more often. I miss you all so much.
